1.0 Platform Definition
SOWRegistry ("The System") acts strictly as a centralized ledger and verification engine for Statements of Work (SOWs). We provide the digital infrastructure to record, route, and cryptographically seal parameters agreed upon by an Originator Node (Freelancer) and a Target Node (Client). We do not act as an employer, agent, or legal representative for either party.
2.0 Node Responsibilities
2.1 Originator Integrity: The freelancer is solely responsible for defining accurate project deliverables, timelines, and financial parameters. Entering fraudulent data or malicious content will result in an immediate and permanent IP ban.
2.2 Target Execution: By clicking "Execute Agreement" and processing the gateway fee, the client legally validates the parameters defined in the digital document. It is the client's responsibility to review all parameters before execution.
3.0 Limitation of Liability & Disputes
SOWRegistry is not a party to the underlying contract. In the event of scope creep, non-payment of the project value, or failure to deliver the project, SOWRegistry assumes zero liability. The System's sole obligation is to provide the immutable PDF artifact and ledger entry to serve as baseline evidence for dispute resolution managed externally by the nodes.
4.0 Ledger Immutability
Once a document reaches the EXECUTED state, it cannot be altered, edited, or removed from the system logs. To modify an agreement, both nodes must initiate a superseding SOW initialization sequence.
